SHARP, ELIZABETH ELLIS - 91, of Seymour passed away on Friday, March 2, 2001. Mrs. Sharp was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Seymour and had retired after 30 years of teaching in the school system at Seymour. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom B. "Jack" Sharp; infant daughter, Janice Elaine Sharp; parents, David Wilson and Martha Emily Brown Ellis; brothers, Tom and Edward Ellis; sisters, Cora Norton, Reece Smith, Anna Mae Cleveland, Ida Shepherd, and Imogene Kyker.
She is survived by Don and Mary Nelle Sharp of Hendersonville, Tenn., Gary and Barbara Jean Sharp of Orange Park, Fla., and Marilyn and J.C. McCarrell of Seymour; grandchildren and spouses, Linda and Greg Maxwell of Jacksonville, Fla., Amy and Sean Cronin of Orange Park, Fla., Donna and Bobby Head of Hendersonville, Tenn., Beth and David Schopp of Alliance, Ohio, Denise and Jeff Hood of Knoxville, John and Tanya McCarrell of Knoxville; 14 great grandchildren and sister, Nelle Garner of Maryville, Tenn. Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday March 5 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel in Sevierville, Tenn. with Dr. Bruce Yates officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6 at Chilhowee Cemetery. The grandson and grandsons in law will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 p.m. Monday March 5 at Rawlings Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Ellis Sharp, 91, of Seymour, died Friday, March 2, 2001.Mrs. Sharp was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Seymour and had retired after 30 years of teaching in the school system at Seymour.She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom B. "Jack" Sharp; infant daughter, Janice Elaine Sharp; two brothers, and five sisters.
