Nelda Charlene Hawk Threlkeld, age 76, of Hickman, KY, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.
She was born August 18, 1935 in Parrottsville, daughter of the late Cecil and Katharine (Luttrell) Hawk.
She married Bill Threlkeld on June 24, 1967.
She was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Dale Hawk and a sister Kathy Hawk.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Katharine and Chris Raines of Trenton, TN and two grandsons, William 'Will' Raines and Aidan Raines, both of Trenton, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2011, at White-Ransom Funeral Home, Inc. with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Hughes, Randy Barnes, Dewayne Tarkington, Will Arnold, Deon Barnes, Nathan Forrester, and Dan Rice.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
