She was preceded in death by her husband, Bailey Cogdill . She is survived by her daughter, Irene Barrett Young, of Chesapeake, Virginia; sister, Evelyn Yates, of Del Rio; grandchildren, Betty Houston, Dwayne Barrett, and Sharon Barrett Thornton; great-grandchil dren, Leah Thornton, Calvin Thornton, Jessie Houston, and Allron Houston; two great-great-grandchildren, Zane Suttles and Breann Suttles; and many, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m., Wednesday, at Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Arthur Willis and Rev. Bill Murr officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Jonestown Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the ser vice.
