Thomas Richard Lane, 54, of Newport, died suddenly Thursday of injuries received in an automobile accident.
He had worked for Roadway Express for 25 years.
He is survived by three children, Chuck Lane, John Lane and Stacy Fine, all of Newport; four grandchildren, Meaghan Lane, Kyle Lane, Brandon Lane, and Joshton Fine, all of Newport; mother, Alma Lane, Newport; sisters, Mable Hightower of Newport and Fannie Folsom of Morristown; and brothers, Earl B. Lane and Hubert Lane, both of Newport.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Manes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J.D. Sisk and the Rev. Ed Frazier officiating. Burial will be in the Open Door Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday.
Manes Funeral Home is charge.
