Don Ingram Manis, age 60, of Oak Ridge, died January 17, 2008 at his residence. He was preceded in death by father: Frank Manis Jr.; step-father: James Richard Lewis; grandparents: Bud and Mae Humphrey and Frank Sr. and Elizabeth Manis; and Brother-in-law: Don C. Ogle Jr. Survivors include his wife: Cynthia (Cindy) Jean Manis; mother: Margaret Manis Lewis; daughter and son-in-law: Sherri and Sam Gunderson; step-sons: David Rainey and Christopher Jinks; step-grandchildren: Crystal Jinks and Cameron Jinks; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Don and Dolores Ogle; brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry and Mary Jo Manis of Philadelphia, Darrell and Ronda of Pigeon Forge, Jody and Karen of Friendsville; sister and brother-in-law: Yvonne (Manis) and John Herron of Maryville; step-sister and brother-in-law: Linda K. and Mike Wade of Shelbyville, KY; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knoxville Feral Cat Friends P.O. Box 32121 Knoxville, TN 37930. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Maryville with Rev. Gaye King and Rev. Danny Treadway officiating. Everyone meet 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home to proceed to Pine Grove Cemetery in Loudon County for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
