Paul James Lane , Oklahoma City , went home to his Savior , Jesus Christ , on Friday , March 13 , 2015 . Paul was born to Vera Blankinship Lane and Noel Edwin Lane on July 12, 1932, in Granite, Oklahoma . After graduating from Central High School in 1950, he worked at Tinker Air Force Base and married Hettie Lee Hall in December 1952. Paul served in the U.S. Navy from June 1952 to May 1956, having twice circumnavigated the globe. Upon his return, Paul studied at The University of Oklahoma while again working at Tinker Air Force Base. He began working at the FAA in 1960 and graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in human resources. He retired from the FAA as an Electronics Supervisor in 1985. Paul is survived by his wife of 62 years, Hettie; his sister, LaVonne; his brother, Richard; Richard's wife, Wanda; and many nieces and nephews. To say merely that he will be dearly missed is to understate the grand influence Paul had on the lives of those he touched.
