Bennett ; grandchildren, Tommy Evans, Brandi Shults, Katherine Taylor Evans; mother, Nora Gorrell; father, Luther Gorrell; sisters, Betty Self and Juanita Gorrell; brothers, Hobert, Hubert, Fred, and Jack Gorrell. She is survived by her children, Walter and Betty Ramsey, Danny and Freda Messer, Troy and Linda Ball, Conley and Shirley Plummer, Robert and Rhonda Long, Jacky and Teresa Bennett , and Johnny and Cindy Bennett ; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Jennie Lee Gorrell and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle with the Rev. Larry Wells officiating, she will lie in state 1:30 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
