LONG , IRENE CATHERINE - age 92, of Maryville, died Friday, July 2, 1999, at the family home. She was preceded in death by husband, James H. Long ; and sons, Gervious A. Long , Bobby L. Long ; grandson, James Long ; brother, Homer Everett; half-sister, Beatrice Stillwell; half-brother, John Bolinger. Survivors include sons, Donald J. Long of Florida, John C. Long of Maryville and Harold B. Long of Sevierville; daughters, Evelyn Marie Everhart of Maryville, Patricia Todd of Maryville, Shirley A. Cornwell of Chicago, Ill. and Brenda M. Orr of Lynwood, Ill.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ida McGhee and Rose Cate, both of Maryville. Funeral services are at 8 p.m. Monday, July 5, 1999, in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. Ronnie Steele and Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at Clark's Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 5, 1999, West Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
