He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Jennifer Shelton , of White Pine; son, Everette Shelton , of Newport; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Sherry Shelton , of Newport; son, Todd Shelton , of Newport; daughter, Melissa Shelton , of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Freda and Steven Miller, of Straw Plains; sisters, Rita Marshall, Marilyn Hogan and husband Ben, and Carolyn Shelton , all of Newport; Kim Tatum and husband Bud, of Statesville, N.C.; Peggy Williams and husband Roger, of Morristown; special friends, Jonathan Lewis, of White Pine; and special neighbors, the Buslers; also several grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2004, at Waterville Park with the Rev. Larry Jenkins officiating. Manes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
