He was a lover of Golf and a member of SMCC. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Stella Allen of Cosby. He is survived by his son Fred L. Allen, Jr.; grandchildren Katelyn and Kelsey Allen of Hendersonville Tennessee, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Union Cemetery. Brother Scott Gorrell will be officiating.
