Ms. Donna R. Adams Shults , 34, of Newport, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 12, 2006, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Nora Scarbrough, and grandfather, Ed Adams Sr. Survivors include her son, Kinsey Shults , of the home; mother, Edith A. Layman, of Newport; father, Ernest Adams, of Roane County; grandmother, Dorothy Adams, of Lenoir City; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Larry James, of Newport; niece, Miranda James, of Newport; nephews, Robert James, of Sevierville; Coty Adams, Clancy James, and Ben James, all of Newport. Additional survivors include several aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and friends. Following cremation by Costner-Maloy, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Ball officiating.
