He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Edward Hatcher; brothers, Jonas Wade Hatcher, Jackie Hatcher and Billy Ray Hatcher; grand daughter, Cara Lea VanDyke Harmon. Survivors include his daughters, Suzanne and husband, Ray Anderson, Sharon and husband, William Breeden, Mary Ann Hatcher and Karen VanDyke and husband, Marty Bright; all of Maryville; 11grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; mother, Gaynell Head; brothers and sisters in law, Johnny “Munk” and Betty Hatcher, Jimmy Hatcher, Leonard and Kathy Hatcher, and Burl (Randy) Hatcher; sister and brother in law, Myrtle “Cissey” and Gregory Mendoza; mother of his children, Flossie Hatcher; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will meet 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2010 at Sparks’s Family Cemetery in Townsend for graveside service and interment, Rev. Fate Green officiating.
