May 18, 1941 - February 7, 2016 CHARLES VIRGIL FORRESTER, age 74, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2016. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Magna View Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and an employee of Lenzing Fibers for 37 years. Preceded in death by parents, Dallas and Virgie Forrester; sister, Dorothy Deering; brother, Don Forrester, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Lois A. Forrester; step-children, Randy and Sherry Turley, Rodney and Cathy Rich; step-grandchildren, Casey and Travis Lambdin, Philip Turley and Eric Stone; sister-in-law, Nellie Forrester; sister, Shirley (Gene) Ailey; several special nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. George Miller officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside interment service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Magna View Baptist Church, 1170 E. Hwy 11E, P. O. Box 29, Talbott, TN 37877, or Tennessee Cancer Specialists, 7551 Dannaher Lane, Powell, TN 37849.
