  [S142] Newspaper Article, St. Petersburg Times (FL), 24 Jan 1988. WATSON, OLIN, 75, of Gatlinburg, Tenn., formerly of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Jan. 14, 1988). Born in Sevier County, Tenn., he came here in 1958 from Gatlinburg. He was the owner of a new and used appliance company, a member of Azalea Baptist Church and the Pinellas Park Rotary Club. He was a member and deacon emeritus of First Baptist Church, Pigeon Forge, Tenn., where he taught Sunday school for many years. He was a Gideon with the Sevier County Camp, past president of the Pigeon Forge Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He was a recipient of the J.P. Barnes Community Service Award. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mamie; two daughters, Elizabeth Fox, Sevierville, and Christine Perry, St. Petersburg; his stepmother, Josie Watson, Gatlinburg; two brothers, Clell, Gatlinburg, and Hugh, Greenback, Tenn.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
