He was preceded in death by his parents Ernal and Blanch Myers Banks and niece, April Dawson. He is survived by his fiancée, Della Marie Reagan, sons, David Michael (Ashley) Banks, Jr., William Richard Holt and companion Jacob McCarter, William Henry Dean Harris; daughters, Leslie Brooke (Bradley)Walker, Dyvonne Banks and Kelly Marie Harris and companion Joshua Buckner; brother, Tommy (Mitzi) Banks; sisters, Theresa Banks and Sandy Banks; grandchildren, Sierra Makayla Noel, Haley Macey Banks, Michael David Banks, William Henry Dean Harris, Jr., Zoey Darlene Harris and Angelina Summer Buckner and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday July 10, 2011 at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hills Union Cemetery, Dandridge.
