(May 16, 1943 - June 27, 2016) Charles Eddie Arms, born May 16, 1943 left this earth for his new farm in the sky Monday, June 27, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Newell Arms, father, Earl Arms; daughter, Lisa Arms; grandparents, Charles and Josie McNabb and Edd and Bertha Arms. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years and caretaker, Mary Arms; sons, Tim (Melissa) and Chuck (Jennifer) Arms; grandchildren, Miranda Seay, Jessica Large, Alex Arms, Alex Henderson, Chelsea Arms, Jenna Arms; great-grandchildren, Jaxen Large, and Jalisa Styles; sister, Debbie (Steve) Woody; niece, Caitlin Woody; cousins but brothers, Robert (Vicky) Arms and Jimmy (Judy) Wright; sisters-in-law, Jane Woods, Melinda Gibbs, Sandra Woods, Emma Jean Redman and Ann Fine; brother-in-law, George (Donna) Owenby. Also Eddie’s constant canine companions Joe and Sissy. Special thanks to Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, Ladeana Ealy, Rachael Ullery, Tish Beason and sister-in-law, Sandra Woods for their constant care and patience. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, June 30, 2016, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Joe Cureton and Chaplain Glen Bradley officiating. Jennifer Arms will do the Eulogy. Burial will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 1, 2016 in Fine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
