Williams, James Kenneth (Spider) – age 73 of Fairfield Glade passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, after a long battle with cancer (multiple myeloma). Member and President of the Men’s Fellowship at Fairfield Glade Community Church. Jim was an avid hunter and golfer who also enjoyed boating and woodworking, and was expert at all. He retired from Sea Ray Boats and was a volunteer fireman for 30 years. Preceded in death by parents, James K. and Jeanne Williams; and sisters, Bonnie Thompson and Sally Kabler. Survived by wife of 52 years, Marlene Noe Williams; sons, Scott D. Williams and wife Sam of Lowell, MI, Daren M. Williams of Crossville, Lyndon J. Williams and wife Teresa of Church Hill, TN; daughter, Angela K. Qualls and husband Russell of Corryton; grandchildren, Allie Williams, Zachary Qualls, and Colton Qualls; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM (CST) Friday, June 10, 2011, at Fairfield Glade Community Church with Dr. Charles Traylor officiating followed by a visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
