ORWELL - - Beth Ann Deis, age 29, of Orwell, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at University Hospital in Cleveland. She had struggled with diabetes for 22 years and kidney failure for five years.
She was born in Geneva, the daughter of Richard J. and Carol A. (Boling) McElroy.
Beth loved life and loved everyone in her family, as well as her friends, and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She was a collector of angels.
Beth is survived by her husband, Anthony, whom she married July 29, 2000, in Orwell; her parents, Richard McElroy of Hartsgrove, and Carol Ann Bean of Rock Creek; a sister, Rhonda McElroy of Rock Creek; paternal grandmother, O'Leata McElroy; maternal grandmother, Dorcas Boling; and a niece, Kaisle Prentice of Rome. Her extended family includes her step-father, Ken Bean of Rock Creek; step-brother, Chad Bean, and his son, Chad; step-sister, Kelly (Phil) Yeater and their children, Ben and Genna of Huntsburg; Ed and Donna Deis of Orwell, and Case and Cassie Deis, and sons, Aaron and Christian of Orwell.
She is preceded by her paternal grandfather, Cecil McElroy, and maternal grandfather, Roscoe Boling.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2007, at St. Mary Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, Ohio, with the Rev. Gregory Fedor as celebrant. Interment will follow in Southeast Hartsgrove Cemetery, Hartsgrove, Ohio.
Friends and relatives will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2007, at PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio 44076.The family asks that donations be made to the National Transplant Assistance Fund, 150 N.
