JOHNSON, STEWARD - of Murrieta, Calif., formerly of Knoxville, passed way May 9, 2005 at the home of his daughter and son in law, after a short illness. He attended the deaf ministry, at First Baptist church of Knoxville and the Tennessee School for the Deaf, while living in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his father, Thurman Johnson mother and step father Della and Clay Cate brother, Homer Johnson ad sister, Leola Johnson Orr two step brothers, Ed and Ray Cate two half brothers, Carl and Hugh Cate one step sister, Helen Cate Houk. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Debbie and Randy Couden of Temecuila, Calif. son and daughter in law, Jerry and Sharon Johnson of Hawaii two grandchildren, Kele and Heather also of Hawaii two step grandsons, Jason and Shaun Couden one great grandson, Dylan of Tampa, Fla. mother of his children, Virginia Johnson special friend, Kay one half brother and sister in law, Leon and Mary Cate two half sisters and brothers in law, Fay and Ed Webster, Leona and Murl Householder one step sister, Elizabeth Cate Norris several nieces and nephews all of Knoxville. Memorial services will be May 23rd at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery Rev. Guy Milan officiating.
