Johnny Blackman (J.B.) Millsaps, age 74, of Maryville, born July 30, 1937, in Vonore, Tenn., went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, October 21, 2011. He was retired from Master Craft Boats and Blount Memorial Hospital, served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of Green Meadow Church of God in Alcoa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Mary Millsaps; his brothers Rev. Ralph Millsaps and Andy Millsaps Jr.; His brothers-in-law Charles Rhyne, Paul Summitt and Gene Lewis, and mother-in-law, Bennie Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Lewis Millsaps; daughter, Cheri Conley and husband John; sons, Mark Millsaps and wife Melanie, Jeff Millsaps and wife Norma; five grandchildren, John Ross Conley and wife Jessica, Andy Millsaps, Jordan Conley, Bailey Millsaps and Olivia Millsaps; sisters, Ruby Rhyne, MaryAnn Summitt, and Martha Leming and husband Cecil; brother, Boyd Millsaps and wife Vietta; sisters-in-law Betty Millsaps and Mildred Millsaps; beloved cat, Moses; and several nieces, nephews and friends. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 25th, at 7:30 p.m. at Green Meadow Church of God, 642 West Hunt Road in Alcoa, with the receiving of friends from 6-7:30. The service will be held by Rev. John Conley and Rev. Ronald Reagan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with the expenses. Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of services.
