She was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church and the owner & operator of a wallpaper business before retiring. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse L. Eldridge; brother, Frantz Edward Eldridge. Survivors; husband, Thomas R. Goins; son & daughter in law, William Scott & Cathy Justice of Maryville; stepsons, Joseph Michael Goins of Maryville, Christopher Lee Goins of Vonore; two grandchildren, Marissa Justice & Tyler Goins; mother, Mabel Eldridge; brother & sister in law, Charles Wesley & Janice Eldridge of Maryville; sister & brother in law, Melissa Sue & Glen Loveday of Maryville; several nieces & nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Sunday April 15, 2001, West Chapel Smith Mortuary with Dr. Howard G. Olive officiating. Interment 12 noon, Monday April 16, 2001 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blount County Library.
