CAMPBELL, JOHN M. - age 82, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, November 15, 2009 surrounded by his family. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and was a WWII veteran. He was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral Church, the Knights of Columbus, and the Chik-fil-A Breakfast Club at West Town Mall. Preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Correll Campbell; parents, B.F. Campbell, Sr. and Helen Whelahan Campbell; brother, B.F. (Bud) Campbell; sisters, Patricia Campbell Raines and Helen (Billie) Campbell Kidd. Survived by son, David Timothy Campbell and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Michael Neph and fiancée Vicki, and Kelli, Isaiah, Miranda, Matthew, and Jasmine Campbell; great grandchildren, Emma Kay Saur and Elise Lynn Neph; sisters, Mary Ellen Campbell Helton and Martha Campbell Meer; brothers-in-law, James P. Raines, Sr. and David Correll and wife Linda; eleven nieces and nephew and multiple great nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral with Monsignor T. Allen Humbrecht, Monsignor Xavier Mankel and Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with full military honors presented by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard.
