Lori Renee (Bible) Noll, age 40 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the UT Medical Center.
She is survived by her parents, Vearl Bible and wife Carol and Fran Rodgers and husband Jim, brother, Eric Bible, sister, Kim Cardoso, husband, Adam Noll, beloved daughter, Julia Noll, cherished son, Aidan Noll, grandfathers, Leon Gourley and Harley Bible, and many other close relatives and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mary Belle Bible and Helen Tweed McDonald.
Lori was an extraordinary human being who touched everyone she came in contact with and will be missed by many. She was also a remarkable student, achieving excellence at every stage of her education, culminating in receiving Highest Honors at UT-Knoxville. She rose to the top of her profession while working with Ernst & Young, LLP, and was currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer for the National Coal Corporation. Lori championed the cause of women in the workplace through her personal example and leadership in the CPA field.
Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Tucker officiating. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at West Millers Cove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Lori Noll Memorial Scholarship Fund of the YMCA of East Tennessee, 400 N. Winston Road, Knoxville, TN 37909, which will assist single mothers in helping provide activities for their children. Lori was an organ donor, reaching out to help others through her death the same way she did through her life.
