Preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, McCona George; daughter, Barbara Ann George; and parents, DeMarcus and Molly King. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bud and Marita George; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Beth and Bill Hedley of Knoxville and their sons, Will, Mark, Ben and John; Buddy George, Jr. of Athens and his daughter, Amy; Barry George of Maryville and his sons, Sean and Matthew; Becky and Mike Dayton of Halls and their children, Stephen, Daniel and Allison; Jenny and Charles Stafford of Cleveland and their children, Tyler, Aubrey and Andrew Ross; sister in law, Hazel "Bill" Cissna of Knoxville. A home going celebration will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain City with Pastor Alan Payne officiating. Private interment Greenwood Cemetery. Mynatt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
