(January 28, 1923 - July 16, 2009) Catherine Gorman, age 86, of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Renaissance Terrace Rehab Center in Harriman. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Alcoa and preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Flora Duggan. She is survived by her daughter, Frankie Gorman. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2009 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Chris Whaley officiating. Because Catherine loved her cats, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Animal Works, 3377 Regal Drive, Alcoa TN 37701. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Clark’s Grove Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
