Robin Layman, age 46, of Newport, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012, at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was preceded by his parents; Mary and Herbert Layman, brother; Tracy Layman. He is survived by his daughters and son in law; Tiffany and Sam Phillips of Cosby, Holly Layman of Newport; brothers, James Layman of Newport, Zendall Layman of Virgina, sisters; Kim Roberts of Florida, Michelle Washam of Florida; grandchildren Jayden Belcher; Fiancee, Lisa Helton of Newport; Stepchildren Ashley Messer and Ronald Taylor. Funeral service will be 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Manes Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm prior to the funeral service Wednesday. Interment will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Grooms Cemetery in Hartford, Tn.
