SURGENOR, MANUEL age 67 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday June 10, 2007 at his home. He was a member of the Glen Oaks Baptist Church and was preceded in death by: parents, Alexander and Retta Surgenor and a brother, Kenneth Surgenor. Manuel is survived by: wife, Peggy of Knoxville; a loving mother-in-law, Ruby King; children, Candy Long of Knoxville, Robin Branam and husband Bobby of Halls; son, Manuel Surgenor Jr. and wife Michelle of Knoxville; grandchildren, Ronnie, Mandy, Bobby, Taylor, Amberly, Breanna and Manuel III; brothers, Rudy and Bill Surgenor; sisters, Betty, Josephine, Susie and Billie Jean; several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday June 11, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with services to follow at 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Weaver Funeral Home, Rev. Charles Reynolds officiating. The interment will be at 11: 00 am Tuesday June 12, 2007 in the Lynnhurst Cemetery. Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave., 865-588-3868, is in charge of the services.
