Gray, age 58, of Newport, died early Thursday morning, September 28, 2006, following a long illness. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church and was an employee of Wal-Mart, in Newport. He also served four years in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert C. Gray; and brother, Kevin J. Gray. He is survived by his wife, Mary Gray, of Newport; son, Todd Gray, of Lake Ozark, MO; daughter, Jennifer Gray, of Newport; stepdaughter, Jessica Goins, of Newport; grandson, Tyler Gray, of Newport; mother, and stepfather, Wanell Gray Masters and James P. Masters, of Newport; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Meredith Gray, of Allen, TX; former wife and mother of children, Linda Staton Gray of Newport; and a host of close aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends and co-workers. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Friday, September 29, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Eddie Young officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Saturday, September 30, 2006 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
