COX, DOUGLAS McARTHUR - age 60, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Etta Cline Cox, and sister, Melissa Cox. He was born April 29, 1942, in Anderson County. Survivors: sister Elsie West and husband, Beryl of Powell; brothers, Floyd Cox and wife, Shirley of Clinton, Carl Cox and wife, Bobbie of Clinton, and Paul Cox and wife, Katherine of Clinton; nieces, Terrie Cox and Carla O'Dell; nephews, Mike West, Jeff West and David Cox; great niece, Christy Hammock; two great nephews, Michael West and Russell Thurmond; great-great nieces, Cheyenne West and great-great nephew, Chase West. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, in Clinton, with funeral services following at 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel with Rev. Albert Walters and Rev. George Miller officiating. Interment will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday at Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
