March 4, 1928 - January 14, 2014 Resided in Sevierville, TN Ralph Carson Davis, age 85 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville. Mr. Davis had been employed by Knoxville News Sentinel and later retired from Peninsula Hospital as maintenance superintendant. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II. He was a great "Jack of all Trades", handyman and electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents Clenton Earl and Pearl Davis; brothers Sidney, Jack, and Toby Davis, sister June Stanley. Survivors: Wife: Margaret Rogers Davis Sons: Benny Davis and wife Heather, Danny Davis and wife Lynn Grandchildren: Kristen Sheppard, Brad and Emily Davis, Curt Davis, Brian Davis Great-grandchildren: Justice Sheppard, Avery Sheppard, Lila Davis, Annagrace Davis Great-great-grandson: Bentley Sheppard Sister: Lucille Adair In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Sevierville, TV Ministry or Music Ministry, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Friday with funeral service to follow at 6 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Hyder and Rev. Craig Mintz will officiate.
