Hahn, John H. – age 84 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010. Member of Burlington Lodge #763 and just received his 50th year certificate. Retired Army Air Force Veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Gentry Hahn (in 1976); wife, Juanita Kinzalow Baxter Hahn (in 2008); parents, Dr. Paul and Belle Hahn; stepmother, Elizabeth Hahn; and stepson, Rusty Baxter. Survived by daughter, Janet Darr of Kenilworth, IL; stepsons, William A. Cunningham of VA, Phil Baxter and wife Scottie of Knoxville, Ricky Baxter of Knoxville, and Randy Baxter and fiancé Linda Marohn of Knoxville; stepdaughters, Jayne Kinzalow-Gates and Sherry Gates of Riceville, TN, and Suzy Baxter of Knoxville; grandchildren, Courtney, Holly, and Rusty Baxter, Jessie Kittrell and husband Daniel, Lori Baxter and husband Charles McRae, Aaron, Drew and Alex MacDonald; and one great granddaughter, Abigail MacDonald. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM Monday, March 22, 2010, at East Tennessee Veteran Cemetery for a 9:30 AM graveside service with full military honors provided by the Air Force Veteran Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Young-Williams Animal Shelter, 3201 Division St., Knoxville, TN 37919. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
