BOWERS, JUDY LYNN WHALEY - age 64 of Knoxville went home to be with the Lord November 14, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents Rev. Ben and Rebin Whaley. Survived by husband Charles Bowers; daughters Brandi and Nicola; step son Dewayne and wife Missy Bowers; grandchildren Stone, Saige, Sawyer, Jadelyn, Logan, and Landon; brother George and wife Jane Whaley; sister Joanne Whaley, niece Teri and husband Mike Holmberg and children Julia and Emily; nephew Randy and wife Penelope, and children Jonah, Amber. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Weavers with chapel service to follow at 8:00 pm. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Saturday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment.
