Fred “Kent” Keller, age 69, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Maggie Keller; brother, Steve Keller; sister-in-law, Irene Shelton. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Charlene Keller of Newport; sons, Mike Keller and Terry Keller both of Newport; grandsons, James Keller and Cody Keller both of Newport; great-grandson, Tristan Keller of Newport; brothers, Bill Shelton of Dandridge, John Keller, Clyde (Lori) Keller, and Cecil “Spanky” (Robin) Keller all of Newport; sister, Nancy Shults of Cosby; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Clayton Presnell officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
