She was the staff organist at Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel for over 40 years, She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Purkey. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law Horace and Bernice (Hurst) Purkey grandson and granddaughter-in-law Mark and Janet Purkey great granddaughters Kaitlan and Brooke Purkey. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 10:45am Wednesday for an 11:00am graveside service Dr. Bruce Marston officiating.
