WHALEY, ELIZABETH (LIB) OGLE - 78, of Gatlinburg, died Tuesday, December 29, 1998, at her home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gatlinburg. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Whaley; father, Charles A. Ogle; son, Billy Maples Dunn; brother, C. Earl Ogle.
Survivors: son and daughter, Thomas N. and Susan Dunn; daughter, Mary Alice Dunn Cox; grandchildren, Keith Cox and wife, Jannette, Kathy Cox Bible and husband, Doug, Kay Cox King and husband, Clark, Kelly Cox McCarter and husband, Ronnie, J. Michelle McDonald, Lori Mayfield and husband, Ric; nine great-grandchildren; mother, Hattie Ogle McGiffin; sister, Antoinette Ogle; brother, Thomas A. Ogle and wife, Jean; sister-in-law, Beth Ogle; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 1999, at Atchley's Smoky Mt. Chapel in Pigeon Forge, Dr.
Jon Roebuck officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mt. Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 12 noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Atchley's Smoky Mt. Chapel, 220 Emert St., Pigeon Forge.
