He is survived by his father Floyd (Melissa) Grooms; daughter Ebie Chandlee Bryant; brothers Danny Grooms and Richard Grooms and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Allens Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Messer and Rev. Leon Large officiating. Burial will follow in the Allens Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Sunday prior to funeral service.
