She was of the Baptist faith and a member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles Area 4096. Jody was preceded in death by: her husband, James Robert Clabough and parents, William and Lola Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, James Clabough and wife Michelle; David Clabough and wife Denise, all of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kayla, Hannah and Jacob; brother, Ronald Spencer Brooks and wife Patsy of Cleveland, TN; sisters, Mary Crye and husband Jack of Sevierville, Pearl Jewel Forest and husband Floyd of Powell, Willie Sharpe and husband Eustace of Knoxville; special friend, Ottie Balser of Strawberry Plains; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 in Asbury Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Blazier officiating. Pallbearers will be: Mickey Sharpe, Tony Forester, Tony Clabough, Kenny Clabough, David Clabough and James Clabough. Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Highway, 637-7955, is honored to serve the family of Linda (Jody) Clabough.
