PHILLIPS, ALVIN FOSTER - age 65 of Clinton, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 at his residence. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. Foster was a very devoted grandfather to his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Alvin Buster & Mildred Phillips and brother, Jerry Phillips. Survivors: wife, Joy Lynne Phillips of Clinton, Tennessee; son, Mark & Michele Phillips of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, LeAnn & Adam Moles of Maynardville, TN; grandchildren, Brittany Moles, Whitney Moles & Erin Phillips; mother & father-in-law, Perna M. & Willie Ogle of Gatlinburg, TN; brothers, Ronnie Dale Phillips of Lebanon, TN, David Michael Phillips of Evansville, Indiana; sister, Linda O. Keller of Battle Creek, Michigan; special aunt & uncle, Cork & Kate Phillips of Norris, TN who help raise Alvin due to the death of his parents at an early age; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm in the chapel. Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 14th. at 2:00 pm at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
