Cora Mae Parker Gibson, 81, of Plaza Towers of Greeneville, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2004.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 23, 2004, at 7:30 p.m. at Jeffers Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Rudd officiating.
Interment will be at Liberty Hill U.M. at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2004. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service on Tuesday.
Survivors include his two sons, Willis Parker, of Greeneville, and Robert Parker, of Liberty Hill Community; one daughter and son-in-law, Elmyra and Roger Hensley, of Limestone; one brother, R.L. Greene, of Del Rio; four grandchildren, Coralee Black, Robert Lynn Parker, Billy Joe Parker, and Sandra Weems; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Hugh Parker; parents, James Robert and Margaret Greene; and one brother, Holland Greene.
She was a member of First Street Church of God, Greeneville.
She was a foster grandparent and was retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center.
Family received friends Monday from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Jeffers Mortuary.
