DISNEY, MIKE - age 57, of Greenback, Tennessee passed away Sunday morning, November 29, 1998 at University of Alabama Medical Center, Birmingham, while awaiting a heart transplant. He was an Elder in Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, a scholarship athlete at The University of Tennessee, 1960-1963. Owner and Operator of six area businesses during the last 33 years, most recently Disney Lawn & Garden. Preceded in death by special cousin, Harlene Myers and father, Eugene Disney. Survivors: mother, Mildred; wife, Gail; son, David; daughter, Kristi; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews, Tim and LeighAnne Disney, Matthew, Melissa, Landon, Dillion, Jeff and Susan Disney, Aaron, Andy and Gene, (The Dogs). Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 1998, at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Rev. Jon Faraone officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Grove Cemetery for the interment service, Rev. Robert Temple officiating. Special friends/honorary pallbearers: John Barnard, Dr. Max Cooper, Larry Darnes, Phil French, Ray Henderson, Mike Holbrook, Jack Kerley, Dennis Pruett, Pat Robinette, Norman Shamblin, Larry Sneed, Ted Sowders, Dick Tallent. Friends may call at their convenience from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 1998, at Miller Funeral Home.
