COGGINS, JR., JOEL R. - age 46, 1821 Dunraven Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee, died Sunday, November 30, 2003, at Fort Sanders Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. A native of Washington County, Tennessee, he was the son of Joel Reuben Coggins, Sr. and Carrie Rigsby Coggins. Mr. Coggins was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Limestone, TN. He was Purchasing Agent for Y-12 Federal Credit Union in Oak Ridge, TN. Mr. Coggins played basketball at Daniel Boone High School in Gray, TN and was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. He was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Charlie & Myrtle Rigsby and paternal grandparents, John and Rhoda Coggins. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Marsha Greene Coggins of the home three daughters, Holly Nicole Falin of Limestone, TN and Carlie Grey Coggins and Linde Madison Coggins, both of the home two sisters, Pamela K. Deakins of Jonesborough, TN and Annie A. Barnes of Johnson City, TN a brother, Berry S. Coggins of Gray, TN and two granddaughters, Laney Paige Falin and Macey Elaine Falin, both of Limestone, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Joel R. Coggins, Jr. will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2003, in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Pastor Steve Pate and Mr. Don Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel or at the residence of his parents, Joel and Carrie Coggins, 105 Pond Hill Road, Jonesborough, TN or the residence of a daughter, Holly Nicole Falin, 1198 Bowman Town Road, Limestone, TN at anytime. The committal service and entombment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 4 at Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be: Joe Barnes, David Deakins, Shannon Chase, Greg Greene, Andrew Lewis, Neil Miller, Gary Greene, Landon Deakins, and Thomas Wade Falin. Those who plan to attend the committal service are asked to meet at the mausoleum chapel at 10:50 a.m. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Muscular Dystrophy Association, P.O.
