STINNETT, COYA S. - age 82 of Hardin Valley Community, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the home of his son. Retired from Union Carbide with 35 years service. He enjoyed farming and was known as Mr. Fix-it for miles around. Preceded in death by: parents, H.R. and Sarah Bohanon Stinnett; infant twins; brother and sister; daughter, Bonnie Ruth Stinnett. Survived by: wife, Frances Packett Stinnett; son and wife, Vernon and Patty Stinnett; grandchildren, Wayne Stinnett of Wisconsin, Sarah and Rebecca Stinnett, and Tonya and Michael Clark; great-grandchildren, Shane, Cyle, and Carter Stinnett and Mya and Alyssa Clark all of Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Mary Bohanon; sister, Trula King of Knoxville; aunt, Jo Bohanon; many nieces and nephews; caretaker, Frankie Jackson was part of the family for the past year. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm, Pastor Michael Ryan officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Wednesday at Byrd's Chapel Cemetery for an 11 am graveside service. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
