TERRY, JAMES LaFEVOR - age 47 of Knoxville, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on July 31, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was an Elder at Asbury Church of Christ and will be remembered for his work there. He was an employee of Ryder Logistics and former employee of A.J. Metler. He is preceded in death by: grandparents, Robert and Hazel Terry and James and Almeda LaFevor; father, Robert Terry, Jr.; and brother, Robert Terry, III. He is survived by: mother, Claudette LaFevor Terry; loving wife of 27 years, Sharon Cagle Terry, both of Knoxville; daughters, Jamie Taylor and husband Ben of Kodak, Jennifer Marohn and husband Michael, and Sarah Terry, all of Knoxville; granddaughter, Abigail Taylor of Kodak; sisters, Teresa Combs and husband Frank of Arnold, MD, Charlotte Giles and husband David; sister-in-law, Kaye Terry, both of Knoxville; nieces and nephews, Jessica Caudle, Ben Combs, Lori Terry-Harper, Katlin Harper, Taylor and Bailey Giles, Olivia Taylor, Patrick Cagle, Colton Cagle, Wesley and Kendal Houser; a loving church family and many friends and neighbors; special family members, Lewis and Georgia Cagle, Karen and Rex Taylor, Brenda and Johnny Houser, Stacy Cagle and Norman Cagle. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to: Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge, 2008 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 6-8pm with a short service to follow in the chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home at 8pm, with Minister Kirk White officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 10am in the Thorn Grove Cemetery. Family & friends will gather at Evergreen Funeral Home at 9:15 am to proceed to the cemetery.
