He was a deacon, trustee and lifelong member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. Mr. Satterfield was an avid fisherman, enjoyed races, being with his friends and working on dump trailers. He was preceded in death by his parents James (Pap) and Melva Jean Satterfield. Survivors: Wife: Linda "Lyn" J.
