CAMERON, DOROTHY LONG COVINGTON - age 84 of Knoxville was born on March 11, 1927 and departed this life on Thursday, July 14, 2011. Beloved friend and mother to all who knew her. Member of Riverview Baptist Church for over 60 years. Preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Covington. Survived by second husband, Earl Cameron; stepchildren, Robin Eslinger, Gary and Neal Cameron; special niece and nephew, Gail and Dan Norris; special friends, Brenda Dockery, Linda Chamberlain, Johnny Van, Candice Marshall, Pat Davis, Terri (Doctor's nurse), Shirley Smith, and Amanda and Asa Smith; and several great and great great nieces and nephews. She will be missed and loved by all. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Higgins and Dr. Steve Hancock officiating followed by the interment at Asbury Cemetery. Pallbearers: Danny Norris II, Marvin, David, and Alan Dockery, Gary and Neal Cameron.
