Josie Franklin, age 92, of Seymour, passed away October 24, 2007. She was born on October 19, 1915, and was the oldest living member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fred Franklin, parents Bill and Cordie Helton, three brothers, three sisters, grandson, Gene Houser, and son-in-law, Lee Estes, special friend, Roxie Liebowitz.

Daughters: Georgia Estes, Charlotte Stricklin, and Opal Woods
Sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth and Clyde Loposser, Ruby and Mayford Johnson
Brothers and sisters-in-law: Otha and Reba Helton, John and Mary Helton, Bruce and Ollie May Helton
Grandchildren: Dianne and Billy Whaley, Judy and Joey Wallace, Sam Woods, Barbara Davis and Lee Estes Jr. of North Carolina
Great-grandchildren: Kim Johnson and husband Casey, Kelly Burkhart and husband Brent, Christopher Garza, Johnathan Thiret
Step great-grandchildren: Rachel, Kaitlyn, and Shane Davis, Emily Wallace
