Lauren Shea McHorney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman McHorney Jr., of Virginia Beach, Va., is engaged to marry Christopher Brian Kadish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kadish, of Colchester, Vt., May 24 at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club, Virginia Beach, Va. Invitations will be sent.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Walker, of Maryville, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman McHorney Sr., of Chesapeake, Va.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Ebba Kadish, of East Haven, Conn., the late Arthur Kadish, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Mahoney.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in German studies. She attends Pepperdine University School of Law, Malibu, Calif.
The bridegroom-to-be is a graduate of Syracuse University and Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America. He is a practicing attorney in Los Angeles.
