Cochrans will mark 55th anniversary Charles G. and Mary Jo (Kittrell) Cochran, of Maryville, will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary Sept. 22. The couple were married Sept. 22, 1952, at the home of Imogen Jenkins in Loudon. Bernard Courtney officiated. Their family includes daughter Charlene G. West and husband David West, of Louisville. They have one granddaughter, Brooke L. Stinnett, of Louisville. Mr. Cochran is retired from the United States Air Force and Blount County Schools. He is also retired from the Tennessee Defense Force. He is a member of the Blount County Senior Outreach Program. Mrs. Cochran is retired from Blount County Schools. She is employed part-time at Baby’s Day Out at Monte Vista Baptist Church. Mr. Cochran served in the South Pacific during the Korean War and was stationed in South Korea, Bangkok, Thailand, and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Mr. and Mrs. Cochran are members of Monte Vista Baptist Church. They enjoy restoring antique cars.
