Alexander Whaley Descendants

Alexander Whaley was born in South Carolina. It is said his three sons and one daughter William M., John, Middleton and Delania left South Carolina for Sevier County, Tennessee by 1812.

One researcher insists Alexander is a descendant of Edward the Regicide but cannot produce any evidence. To understand how this may have come about, check out "Records Are Remorseless As Regards Theory".

Listed are 10 generations of 2,421 known descendants (3,768 if you include spouses) of Alexander Whaley, most who lived in the Smoky Mountains.
