HUSKEY, CLYDE EMERT - age 77, of Morristown, formerly of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, November 11, 2003, at the residence of his granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Rosemary and Gerald Ward, following an extended illness. He was a retired business owner and was a veteran of W.W.II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Grace Huskey son, Clyde Eugene Huskey, parents, Arvin and Bessie Huskey granddaughter, Yvonne Moody two sisters, Laura Allene and Mayme Lucille. He is survived by: three brothers, James (Ralph) Huskey of Mystic, CT, Clarence Huskey of New Market and Kenneth Huskey of Sevierville four sisters, Hazel Shelton of Pamplin, VA., Beulah Sykes of New Market, Betty Roberts of Doyle, and Grace Loy of Knoxville step-daughter, Barbara Steadman of Rogersville several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2003, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville. Hawkins County Color Guard will conduct military graveside honors 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2003, at Hamblen Memory Gardens. Rev. Rick Loy will officiate at the graveside service. Colboch-Price Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
